Scavenger Hunt
I vividly remember getting very lost during UNC Charlotte's orientation. Having just registered for classes, I needed to rendezvous with my parents at the Student Union. I wanted to get home as soon as possible, so I was getting increasingly frustrated as I wandered around aimlessly outside the library. Thankfully, I never have to worry about getting that lost again at UNCC because of the scavenger hunt. Because of this activity, I learned my way around campus much more quickly than I hoped I could, which allowed me to navigate my way from class to class more effectively.
Executive Summary
All throughout High School, I struggled a little with time management and working efficiently. Although it never came back to bite me too terribly hard, I knew that it could potentially hurt me in the future. I was right. It didn't take too long before I had all but forgotten about the executive summary. Soon enough, I had an avalanche of assessments and assignments from almost all of my classes hurling straight at me. I managed to survive the landslide, but only just. I didn't enjoy the project at all, but it taught me a valuable lesson: Don't procrastinate.
